MMTA3 Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in MMA’s Market Timing Academy, MMTA3 beginning in March 2023.

We have created a list below of our most common questions we have been asked by prospective students of MMTA3. We are always available to answer any of your questions via email at MMTA@mmacycles.com. You may also connect with program director, Gianni Di Poce, Gianni@mmacycles.com, if you wish to learn more about MMTA3.

We have a MMTA3 Program Schedule available to review where we explain the topics covered throughout the program. We also created a MMTA3 Common Questions document where we address time, cost, and value of MMTA3.

We will continue to update this list of Frequently Asked Questions as we approach out March start date of MMTA3.

Watch MMTA Q&A Webinar with Gianni and Ray hosted in February 2023 to learn more about the upcoming program.

If you have not already done so, please hear what some of our MMTA2 students had to say about their experience in 2021-2022. You may also hear what our MMTA1 graduates had to say about the original MMTA program offered in 2013-2014. Watch this interview between Ray and Gianni from 2020 where they discuss what information will be covered in the MMTA program.

We look forward to having you join us in March for MMTA3!

Q: When does MMTA3 begin?

A: Course One begins on Saturday March 18, 2023 at 12PM ET

Q: How do I sign up and pay for MMTA3? Can I pay over time in installments?

A: You may enroll  on our website through the MMTA3 product page where we accept both credit card and PayPal. You may also send us a check (PO Box 14934, Scottsdale, AZ 85267), or send us a wire transfer. Please send us an email at MMTA@mmacycles.com if you are interested in arranging a wire transfer. Payment must be received before the start of each course for any student to enroll. There is a $2,000 savings for students that enroll before Course One begins in March and chose to pay in-full for the two-year MMTA3 program ($18,000). Most of our students will choose to pay for one course at a time ($2,500/ course) over installments.

If you have any questions around payments, or need to create a unique payment schedule, that is what we are here for and have done for many of our students. Please send us an email, MMTA@mmacycles.com, so we can create a schedule that works best for each student.

Q: I see most class sessions begin at 12PM ET on Saturday. I live in a different time zone and am unavailable at that time. Will the classes be recorded?

A: Yes! Many of our students live outside of America so we anticipated that not everyone could attend each class live. All classes are hosted virtually on Zoom and will be recorded. The video class recordings will be made available for all students on the Monday following each Saturday virtual class session.

Q: How long are virtual class sessions?

A: About 2-3 hours long every Saturday at 12PM ET, depending on the material being covered. Check out our MMTA3 Program Schedule to learn more about class dates and times. Every class session will have a virtual option and some classes during Courses 2 and 8 will have in-person options as well.

Q: Are Exams and Research Projects mandatory?

A: No, they are optional but required for those wishing to attain MMTA certification of completion. If you are looking to go the certification route, there will be 7 Exams and 7 Research Projects you will need to complete and pass.

Q: How many Courses are in MMTA3 versus Classes versus Lessons? How many hours total?

A: MMTA3 is a 2-year PROGRAM consisting of 8 COURSES. Each course will have 6-7 CLASS sessions, where we will cover 1-3 LESSONS in each virtual class session, over 100 lessons total (107 to be exact). Live Zoom class sessions take place for 2-3 hours on Saturdays at 12pm ET for Courses 1, 3, and 4 in the first year, and Courses 5, 6, and 7 in the second year. Each course is given over a 6–7 week period, followed by a one-month break to do an exam and research project. In all, there will be about 18 weekends/year in which these Zoom class sessions take place. This equates to about 90-100 HOURS total.

Q: Where or how do we obtain price information for securities to conduct analysis? Is it mandatory?

A: Not mandatory but would likely be very inconvenient for students who do not have some sort of program to provide them with security price data. Here at MMA, we use Metastock. There are also other alternatives, such as stockcharts.com, tradingview, etc. A Metastock subscription is included with your purchase of two-year MMTA3 Program (Retail price, $1190 or $595/ year). For students who pay for MMTA3 one course at a time (installments), we do offer a significant discount on Metastock upon enrollment.

Q: Is the FAR for Galactic Trader Software or Solar Fire Software mandatory for the course?

A: No, but it will be extremely helpful in terms of conducting additional research, not only during the course, but for any type of research pertaining to geocosmics after the course is finished. FAR for Galactic Trader EOD Software and Solar Fire Software are included with your purchase of two-year MMTA3 Program (Retail price $1895 and $360). For students who pay for MMTA3 one course at a time (installments), we do offer a significant discount on FAR for Galactic Trader and Solar Fire upon enrollment.

Q: Does MMA assist in setting up trading accounts?

A: No, however, our work focuses on futures markets. etc. So, you will want to be sure that the company you choose offers futures trading. Some examples include Interactive Brokers and TD Ameritrade. Ameritrade may be ideal for beginners, as it offers their Thinkorswim platform, which provides free security data, and allows the user to place trades directly into the program.
